[Bug 438009] [NEW] Selecting and dragging text freezes the X session
Public bug reported: I am guessing that this is a bug in python-webkit, as I can reproduce the same symptoms in both Gwibber Liferea. I have this habit of selecting text while I am reading something on the screen. Unfortunately, when I do this in both gwibber and liferea, my X session hangs really easily. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open gwibber or liferea. 2. While you're reading a post, select the text you're reading and drag it 3. After a while, the pointer will be frozen. 4. You will need to move to a different xterm to kill the application Note: this is less painful to reproduce in gwibber, as in liferea any attempt that didn't freeze the application will create a new subscription.
