After downloading the latest Ubuntu upgrade (as of this date), I no
longer have use of lower case keys: A,Q or X. Tried 3 different
keyboards. I can only access these lower case letters by selecting caps
lock and holding down shift a,

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
After installing Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (from disk) I lost the upper and lower
menu bars. Right click in upper and lower window space brings no
response other than the desktop change desktop background app. I have
to crash out to shut down.
Thanks for the correction phr0ze. I'm still learning Ubuntu but am
determined to stick with it.
