Problem:
Played a YouTube video just fine with sound. Then I started up Banshee and
played 2 seconds of a song then paused it - went back to YouTube and tried
playing a song and it has no sound.

I just turned off Eric's workaround and tried a few things once more..
When i log in, all function keys and volume up/down keys work fine, page
up, page down, letters.. those all work fine.. but if i type a number
on the numpad nothing happens (like it's turned off) so then i type
Eric, I know on Windows the Clear key works as a numlock key would, but
I was curious as to what the Clear key is originally supposed to be for
on the mac? What does it originally do?

I have my 'Hard Heron' Alpha 5 Desktop computer hooked up to my Yamaha receiver
through a Fiber-Optic Audio Cable.
If I set my 'Sound' settings to go through 'Intel ICH5 - IEC958' I can get it
to play sounds, but the sounds play at a faster speed than regular. So
I have Hardy Heron (Alpha 6) with 'Eject 2.1.5' installed and the tray
doesn't close for me on my new slim apple keyboard.
- Why are all these small, yet, quality details taking forever to fix?

Actually, after testing it more i find that the keyboard only gets
screwed up when I type with keys on the Numpad. The numbers above the
letters works fine.

Someone should make the Clear key be the key for Numlock.

I have the Slim USB Aluminum Mac Keyboard (new version). I have
-proposed allowed and recently did an Update of regular system items.
Now the Eject media key both opens and closes the disc drive. Before
the update it would only open the drive.
