2014-01-06 Thread Breno Leitão
I just tested it on my power7+ machine and I don't see this problem. I am wondering if your viminfo didn't get corrupted. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266413 Title: messages seen

Yep, it seems that the file libavcodec/ppc/asm.S needs to be ported to ABI v2. Let me work internally at IBM to do a patch for it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1263802 Title: FTBFS

[Bug 205895] Re: [Hardy] Wine 100% cpu usage

2008-07-10 Thread Breno Leitão
Definitely this seems to be a ugly hack. mainly because the problem also happen when the page is still opened. For example, i use IE to use a stock broker, and in less than 10 minutes, wineserver is hogging all the CPU. :-( In my opinion we need to fix it in its root. -- Breno Leitão

Here also, this workaround doesn't work. Interesting to note, that this problem appeared after I upgrade from gutsy to hardy, so, I am not sure if this is a ie4linux bug. ** Attachment added: unnamed http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14987566/unnamed -- [Hardy] Wine 100% cpu usage

Strangely enough, the machine I don't see this problem was updated to kernel 2.6.24-17 and the one I hit this issue (using snd-hda-intel), doesn't get 2.6.24-17, just stopped at 2.6.24-16. -- Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191027 You received this bug

Richard, I have a problem like this one, and I am using snd-hda-intel. Are you using this card also? Well, to surpass this bug I kill my pulseaudio daemon without mercy, and then in the next time everything work as expected. Please, if you get the following error again, try to kill the daemon

Here also, I just killed PulseAudio and everything went fine. So, this seems that we just have a workaround until now, right? PS: If you' re using pidgin and kill pulseaudio, gaim will hog 100% of your CPU, and will crash. -- Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument

I' ve found that as soon as you click on Set as Default Background, the next windows doesn' t show the image inside that monitor. Take a look at the screen shot. If you click on Center in the position field, then everything goes fine. ** Attachment added: The screenshot of the monitor
