Clicking on Cancel or Authenticate did nothing. Clicking on Details

simple shapes, the displayed value *is* continually updated. I think
it's related to the redraw speed of the shape that is being affected.

(Netbeans). It wasn't after a reboot, or an install, or anything like

Loud popping noise before sounds are played (if sounds haven't been
played in the last few seconds). I have yet to try the workaround (of
commenting out the last line in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf), but I'm
confident that it'll work.
