Gutsy kernel 2.6.22-7-generic missing rt61
The problem is that lowlevel drivers (rt2400pci.ko, rt2500pci.ko, rt2500usb.ko,
rt61pci.ko, rt73usb.ko) are not built, only the high level drivers
(rt2x00lib.ko, rt2x00pci.ko, rt2x00usb.ko) are.
The root cause of this seems to be that the .config is not automatically
included in recursive
This is an updated patch, containing the build fix and the latest git

I've been hit several times by a (fixed upstream) bug which leads to a kernel
panic
I can reproduce it at will by uploading a 1 MB file in a Yahoo Mail attachment
form
According to upstream changelog, the bug is present in version 1.45 and
has been fixed in version 1.46

[Gutsy] rt2500 driver missing from rt2x00
Hmm, that's strange.
I've just checked with a fresh clone of git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu
/ubuntu-gutsy-lum.git, in a freshly updated gutsy chroot.
I've issued :
cd /tmp/ubuntu-gutsy-lum
cat /tmp/fix-rt2x00-build.patch | patch -p1
sudo apt-get install $(gdebi --apt-line -q debian/control)
Public bug reported:
I've identified various problems in latest xen-3.1 source package :
- FTBFS in pbuilder because of trailing debian/files file.
- /etc/init.d/xendomains fails because of bad LOCKFILE and XENDOM_CONFIG paths.
- pygrub fails because of missing /usr/lib/fs/*/fsimage.so
- PVFB
This seems fixed by now, but IMHO there is a problem with providing only one
kind of hypervisor/kernel :
it will break many setups where (non-PAE) domUs don't share the kernel image
with dom0. (PAE domO cannot boot non-PAE domU, and vice-versa).
Rebuilding those kernels with PAE may not be easy,
Also, xm create -c fails because of missing xenconsole.

Yes, libc6-xen (2.5-0ubuntu11) is installed.
There is absolutely no problem for processes other than those from upstart
(precisely init and logd).
If I uninstall libc6-xen, I have plenty of fixup warning for apt-get (for
example), none with libc6-xen installed.
With standard upstart (0.3.5-2)
Glad to hear this.
Can you explain what kind of problem is in the kernel ? (I have same
behaviour with kernels derived from other sources)
