I have Ubuntu 8.10 (i386). I have followed tutorial of wiki

and installation ended succesfully. Next reboot (or if i switch off and switch
on the printer), system create another printer,
After update of today (apt-get update and apt-get upgrade) network work
(updated DNS packages and other).
I have now a problem with firestarter taht block network both wireles than
cable). The firestarter's configuration is the same as before and worked.

don't connect in internet. lspci said Kernel driver in use: r8168 but don't

I tried to insert in etc/modules r8168 but the same don't work.

I tried kernel 3.5.0-030500rc1-generic (with extra e header). The problem is
the same.
I tried so:
- I de-blacklisted r8169
- I installed new kernel
- rebooted
- problem the same
So I have installed last driver of realtek so:
$ sudo -s
# rmmod r8169
# mv
If I launch with sudo, it fix the problem (but is not the solution).
I tried all the suggests above, but nothing done.

Both, file manager and fileselector dialog in applications.
The time nautilus shown above concerns the only file manager (i don't know how
to see the open time of fileselector dialog).

There isn't delay browsing a directory from a command line. Problem is the same
with user dir or remote dir (mounted with cifs).
