Public bug reported:
A strange phenomenon has occured while beta testing Unity 3D on Precise.
The GNOME 2.(n) bottom bar has showed up out of nowhere and has enabled
a previously set function in Compiz (Wallpaper(cycle)). I chose xorg as
the possible culprit but it may be a Unity/Compiz problem.

Please belay this bug report. This is a non-bug. I had erroneously made
this report while assuming I was working out of the Unity 3D DE, when,
in actuality, I was in GNOME CLASSIC.DE.
Thank you .
Kind regrads,

The Software Center is taking extremely large amounts of time and
resources on systems running legacy AGP video cards (ATI) with the new
Precise kernel 3.2.x.x and with Oneiric standard kernel in Unity 2D and
Cairo doc. However , this is not always the case as with the use of a
no fix here as of yet. Ubuntu software center was working just fine
until I read the thread at Ubuntu Forums where some beta testers were
reporting Software Center Problems. I then updated through synaptic and
now my Software Center is disabled. Is this a waiting game for because
of high traffic
Definitely this is a major bug that has affected all my Oneiric and
Precise installations. Even a lot of the ccsm plugins extras like
'wallpaper' are totally non-functional. Just after installing Oneiric
and downloading ccsm and trying to set up the plugins , an array of
anomolous screen jumpers
