banshee I have latences between 5 and 15 seconds. I use the mediakeys
from my notebook. This works fine with changing the volume so that can't
be a problem with these keys.

I have the same problem with the final release of 10.10!
I think, thats my suggestion, that it could be my dvd-rw that is the problem.
Maybe there is no support for rewritable dvds?
I burn it on a normal cd but it's late, I'll report this in about 16
hours^^

which are listed by apt-get were installed by the update-manager.
