Webcam and printer now work in kernel 2.6.24-* with latest updates.
However, after upgrading to intrepid the webcam doesn't work in
2.6.27-*, but the printer does.

Hi,
I'm pretty sure bug #282473 isn't relevant, since I don't get a green colour,
rather the video doesn't work at all.
The other two I don't think are the same bug, but I'm not sure to be honest.
All I know is that it doesn't load the video.

I have also just managed to get my printer-scanner-copier to work since
switching back to 2.6.24-19.
Couple of things I noticed when plugging either of my usb devices in whilst
logged on:
- Running 'lsusb' will hang, and is not killable.
- khubd uses 95% CPU.

mistaken, even when you change your RAM to a different partition, (ie. when it
can't find it from resume and fstab), the pulsating bar still shows up, but
then disappears for the (what would have been)

Basically, usplash loads fine (pulsating), but the problem occurs when the
system is looking for a 'system resume file'. It cannot find the partition
listed in fstab and resume, therefore cannot check for a 'resume file', and
drops to a terminal.

To clarify: on 2008-11-25 I meant the current upstream release worked
correctly; with pidgin changing back to the personal message when music
was stopped.

I observe this behavior when I have an external monitor and:

* the desktop is extended. In this case, as Scott mentioned, the laptop display

I also see this. Every time update-notifier starts (either automatically
or manually), it crashes and a Problem Report dialog appears. The
process does not actually terminate, but a backtrace as described at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace is attached. Ctrl-C was pressed when
the Problem Report
Seems to be a different issue, Holger. This bug is about it not
appearing. Yours seems to be about it staying open.
