Hi,
I don't know exactly why this happens, but this issue has surely been
fixed since v.0.03, because you can now define your own media folders

Ok, from what I can see, get_active() returns -1, which means that
nothing is selected in the combo box. This should actually not happen,
because this code is executed when the selection has changed. Perhaps
that the handler is installed a bit too soon and there is a race
condition in some cases.
You can find a patch for v.0.05 here:

Could we get an update on this? I'm not sure I want to see these
tooltips stick over my windows until the next Ubuntu release. The
workspace switcher applet could at least be patched to completely remove
these tooltips (should be quite easy AFAICT) until a solution is found
in Compiz.

Jaunty:
I can confirm that the icon now stays forever in my systray. I have to
quit it to remove it.

Public bug reported:
Currently these popups last for something like 5-6 seconds, which is way
too short. If I'm reading a web page or writing an e-mail, by the time I
finish reading the current sentence or writing the current word, the
popup disappears before I'm done reading it.
** Affects:
No, it just happened again: The printer icon was semi-transparent in my
systray, and the hide option had no effect at all. I had to choose
'quit'.
