Yes we've overwritten the OSD styled adwaita notifications with this solid look
as a design decision:

But I am open to revert this, if we get the ack of the rest of the team.

I am a bit unsure if I am experiencing the same error with gnome shell
in 21.04 because the bug description is a bit vaque...
Anyhow since 21.04 sometimes after I pressed the app grid button (or
super+A) the panel, the dock and everything else EXCEPT the window
previews in the overview disappear.
The gtk3 packages from this ppa also fix this bug on 21.04

As their are no visual issues with our design and only the obvious design

Hi there, yes this happens on focal.
I didn't find the reason though, because we did not change the tooltip from
20.04 to 20.10
Also, in 20.10 this does not happen anymore:

eclipse ide has huge padding and inconsistencies

We received several years bug reports of users who would like to move away from
the aubgerine/pink screen at login.
This year, especially with the new philosophy to let the user decide on the
accent colors, we thought that a neutral black would fit better.
Also we had this issue
This specific theme has been replaced with yaru-light
Eventually we could Backport the current yaru theme (minor gnome shell) to
20.04?

I've written a debugging on the yaru github ticket.
TLDR: it's not a yaru bug (also happens with adwaita) but a combination
of GTK3, Mutter and Java SWT (not happening with Java FX)
