I don't know if you will get this response but, I've figured out the
problem. I switched from the DVI to the VGA port on my video card and
it now works fine. The graphics card is on older ATI 9200 SE. However,
I did load Debian and it works fine with the DVI port.

Then press F9
No problem, it must be some type of configuration issue, I would suspect
one of the applets or AWN is possible grabbing that key binding. Trying
without that running might help to see where the issue is.

The database was created on a desktop under Ubuntu 8.04 (0.2.2-3) and
copied to a laptop upgraded to 8.10 (0.3.1-1). The database and keyfiles
have identcal md5sums and could be opened when the laptop was running
8.04.

Thanks, for the info. Putting the missing cert in /etc/ssl/certs/ca-
certificates.crt and adding:
TLS_CACERT /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt
...to my ldap.conf fixed the connection problem for me. Any idea as to
why my setup was working in Gutsy? Previously, I only had:
TLS_CACERTDIR
Perhaps because gnutls openldap doesn't seem to support the
TLS_CACERTDIR option (bug #242313)?

Hi,
I am experiencing this in an X60s running i386 Gutsy with an Intel
ipw3945 card. Network manager does not associate. If I disable Network
Manager wireless, do:
sudo iwconfig eth1 essid x mode managed
then re-enable Network Manager wireless, it associates properly.
