[Bug 216847] Re: sshd will not start at boot if ListenAddress is set, because network interface is not yet up

2017-12-30 Thread Gennady
Ubuntu 17.10
Changing network.target to network-online.target in
/lib/systemd/system/ssh.service worked. I also added
Wants=network-online.target (don't know if it's necessary but
https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd/NetworkTarget/ suggests it)

[Bug 738276] [NEW] linum-mode and toggle-option incompatibility

2011-03-19 Thread Gennady N. Uraltsev
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: emacs-goodies-el

Dear Guys,

I am using a snapshot version of emacs that I installed on an ubuntu
10.10 system from your apt repository (http://emacs.naquadah.org/) It is
dated 2011-03-09. Anyway, there is apparently a bug there as calling
linum-mode from inside the toggle-options command can only turn on the
mode but does nothing to turn it off, although there is a message
stating that the function linum-mode was called in the Message Buffer.
The same emacs config file works on emacs 23.3 and executing that
command actually toggles the linum mode. I attach my .emacs file.

Here are the packages I have installed pertaining to emacs

ii emacs-goodies-el 33.6ubuntu1
Miscellaneous add-ons for Emacs
ii emacs-snapshot1:20110309-1+ubuntu0
The GNU Emacs editor (development snapshot)
ii emacs-snapshot-bin-common 1:20110309-1+ubuntu0
The GNU Emacs editor's shared, architecture
dependent files
ii emacs-snapshot-common 1:20110309-1+ubuntu0
The GNU Emacs editor's common infrastructure
ii emacs-snapshot-el 1:20110309-1+ubuntu0
GNU Emacs LISP (.el) files
ii emacs23 23.2+1-4ubuntu1~ppa3
The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK+ user interface)
ii emacs23-bin-common23.2+1-4ubuntu1~ppa3
The GNU Emacs editor's shared, architecture
dependent files
ii emacs23-common23.2+1-4ubuntu1~ppa3
The GNU Emacs editor's shared, architecture
independent infrastructure
ii emacsen-common1.4.19ubuntu1
Common facilities for all emacsen

It affects me too. The filtering message is always present even if I
didn't specify any filters...
