I've just tried it on a 64 bits system on debian, it went OK, so I guess
the bug was corrected!
Thanks

I'm running on a 32 bits processor as my main computer now, so I
wouldn't know. I may try when I get my hands back on a 64 bits though.
Thanks for your concern, even if it's surprising nobody else reported
something related..

Unable to connect, and gets frozen when retrying on AMD64
I'm running karmic and have been doing so for a few weeks now, but since
I have other problems (flash issue with pulseaudio, other drivers
issues), I can't really tell if I encountered that issue or not, though
I have encountered no freeze until now.

Annoying freeze of some apps
I think there is a lib doing something wrong, or a driver not working properly.
I installed a fresh 9.04 64 bits system on this setup, and I'm affected as well.
I can now say that xterm is not affected by this, neither seems to be gedit.
I'm gonna go further in checking libs used, and drivers
That makes me think of the bug I still have on 9.04, ubuntu kernel:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/376168
Not sure if it's related, anyway, I'll try a kernel upgrade too..

Public bug reported:
Hi,
Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 / Jaunty, I experience a really annoying
bug that I can't pinpoint.
What happens:
At a point, a given set of apps will freeze for a few moments. These apps
include gnome-terminal and xchat mainly, but more interestingly some apps are
OK.. I guess I will never know. Out of frustration, I installed a Ubuntu
9.04 64 bits on this computer, and now it's working fine.. We shall see
until when ;)
I guess this can be closed, since I won't go further probably (unless
someone is interested.)
Regards

Annoying freeze of some apps
Public bug reported:
When I plug my Motorola XT910 (Razr Max) as USB, with connection sharing
on USB enabled on the phone, network-manager sees it, but reports it as
disconnected. If I activate the usb0 interface manually (ifconfig /
dhclient), it works, flawlessly.
I set network manager to log
