Public bug reported: My Fujitsu-siemens laptop don't have USB 2.0 that's why I use the HDD through this card. All the stuff work great under WinXp (I have dual-boot) Also if I use it from the motherboard's usb 1.1 port, then no problems occour. Although the HDD is rekognized and automounted well

When I first faced this problem, did some copy attempt to determine what an cause the problem. During theese test, Thunar seemed to be completely unuseable, it instantly freezed if I tryed to reach data from Usb device connented to the NEC PCMCIA card. However On other USB 1.1 motherboard ports
