[Bug 282013] Re: Resizing Nautilus window using drag handle, handle seems to be lost after first drag

I do use Compiz, and it does seem to be the source of the problem. Using fusion-icon to turn it off and test resizing, I didn't seem to notice any problems. -- Resizing Nautilus window using drag handle, handle seems to be lost after first drag https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282013 You

[Bug 282013] [NEW] Resizing Nautilus window using drag handle, handle seems to be lost after first drag

2008-10-11 Thread GreySim
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus When dragging the lower-right hand corner of a Nautilus window via the handle, after resizing the window once, the drag handle seems to no longer function. This is using spatial Nautilus, but seems to be broken in browser mode as well. To

I just did an upgrade/restart, and it's still present, but not quite as straightforward as I initially described (I don't think it changed, just my knowledge of it has). If you mouse all over the handle area and note what triggers the drag cursor and what doesn't it may be more evident. It does

Confirmed by another user using a macally USB keyboard on a Dell tower using a Dapper CD from Shipit. Works in BIOS, works post-install, doesn't work in the menu for the LiveCD. This unfortunately makes the LiveCD *near-useless* for me, as it's impossible to get a persistant session if the

This symptom is still reproducible in 9.04. It is possible after all this time that upstream just changed the behaviour for the worse, I suppose. When I originally reported this long ago, I thought it was a simple backport type of thing, as there had been a working third-party repository version
