Is there a way to do this on the fly? Can I simply modprobe the module and

Sorry for the long delay... I have been concentrating on getting 0.9.91 to
build for trusty... I am sorry I didn't get a chance to test it and get
VST/wine working right for this release... I had some serious issues to
overcome, the rules file is MUCH better now, and there is MIME-type icons
Ok, a lot has changed... there is an entirely NEW icon, and new UI for
the upcoming 0.9.91 version

wine can safely install the program.

there are some known bugs in that version, in fact I have been trying to get a
fixed version SRU'd for trusty.
SRU = Stable Release Upgrade.
In the meantime, I have a PPA for the branch I want to SRU, if you could test

Yes this is still an issue.
It is a bit more complex than it initially seemed.
In order to remove Wine dependencies to a separate package the packaging will
have to be totally changed.

It is (from my understanding of this bug) something to do with NVIDIA. and
their drivers and the way they link with certain system libraries.
The people at Ubuntu do not make the proprietary NVIDIA drivers, so no one can
be assigned. No one can fix this except Nvidia (AFAIK). It *may*

workaround I can think of is to create a script.
