I tried installing 12.10 on that machine (a brand new Asus Zenbook Prime laptop (Ivy bridge)) and it worked fine, so the bug seems to be fixed in 12.10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019876 Title: installer crashed during install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1019876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1019876] Re: installer crashed during install
Thank you for the feedback, I have long since moved on to a newer version of Ubuntu, but I can tell you that I created the installation USB stick using UNetbootin with an Ubuntu ISO image I downloaded from ubuntu.com. I used UNetbootin on a computer running Debian unstable.
[Bug 1813902] Re: Lenovo Thinkpad T540p - Kernel Crash 4.15.0-44 (18.04 LTS)
I see a problem that I think may be the same on a T470s. I don't know how to confirm if it's the same problem since my laptop crash when I lock the screen when the laptop is docked in a Lenovo dock. [Bug 1885693] [NEW] Unwanted reboot after screen is locked
Public bug reported: After locking the screen to leave the computer for a few minutes, I come back to a computer that is freshly rebooted.
