Yes i have installed both firefox-gnome-support and firefox-3.0-gnome-support. This is not only about mainmenu font but also affects toolbar and context menu fonts. Look closer and try to compary with firefox2. On firefox2 it looks nice. I've attached another screenshot of ff2 and ff3 menus.
