Gnome disk utility found a failing disk through SMART. Launching the utility
generated so many xsession errors that it made a disk filling .xsession-errors

I can confirm this bug in 9.10. I could be fixed in 10.04 or in the dev distro
branch. A back port would be nice. There coudl be an upstream patch, plugin or
scirpt that could solve the problem.
Possilbe work around solutions:
Hide db files, or hints through renaming or moving of special files

I can't be sure at this point what caused this issue. I seem to have
banjaxed the whole system. I get a report like the one above now for
several packages including python-uno, python-wxgtk, and, frightenly,
lsb.

Functionality related to the bug has improved overall.
I am no longer effected and I do not think carrying over this information from
9.10 would really help if the problem still exists.
If others are still effected then I am willing to research the related issues
on the forums and see if
