Well, as Mark pointed out before, we really need more data before any
real solid good choices can be made.
Perhaps we should ask ourselves whether buttons should be ordered
according to whether they are most desctructive, or most used.

bit dated and has some issues solved in gartoon-redux, which is quite an

Please package gartoon-redux for inclusion in Edubuntu as a replacement

Installing using the debian-installer with the LTSP option enabled, the
installer fails and says that it can't find the package ltsp-server-
standalone, which is not included on the disc.

I guess there could be a sanity-check plugin for ltsp-build-client that
checks whether the required packages are available, etc and failing that
it could print out a user-friendly error message with banners and
flashing lights and animated gifs, etc and abort the installation.

I'm closing this bug and marking it as Wontfix. The add-on CD has been
discontinued in favor of a complete installation disc. Any further
issues that arise should be filed as new bugs. Thank you for reporting
this bug.

As far as I understand from Oli's comment #20, it's already booting the
system as fast as it possibly can with a 2.6 kernel. Since Ubuntu will
never support a 2.4 kernel, this bug can probably be closed now?

This has been fixed at some point, tested in Lucid, printing works fine.
I believe this bug can be closed, please re-open if there is more
information or if there are specific cases found where it doesn't work
(or open new bugs).
