[Bug 1891891] Re: [SRU] MATE Desktop 1.24.1 maint release
I was hoping this fixes would come with Ubuntu Mate 20.04.2, but unfortunately it seems it didn't happen. Is there any plans to release this fixes to Ubuntu Mate 20.04? Or is there at least a ppa or any other alternative to fix the missing icons? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1891891 Title: [SRU] MATE Desktop 1.24.1 maint release To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/caja-extensions/+bug/1891891/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 566818] Re: [Lucid] cryptsetup passphrase prompt during boot: every character typed repeats the prompt
I have a similar problem when trying to use Recovery Mode on Ubuntu 10.04, maybe it is related to this one. I did a script to run automatically when the Recovery Mode option is selected on boot. It was working fine for a while on 10.04, but after some updates (unfortunately I can't remember exactly which ones) the prompt got crazy. When asking for passwords it has the behavior described here every character you type it shows the password prompt again. Also when my script asks for input (through read -e) I cannot see what I am typing and I have to press ENTER twice in every entry to continue. -- [Lucid] cryptsetup passphrase prompt during boot: every character typed repeats the prompt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566818 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 589056] Re: snmpd fails to upgrade
Actually I think there are two problems with this package: 1) When upgrading it does not stop the snmpd daemon and when it tries to recreate the user snmp it fails ( see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/net-snmp/+bug/573391 ) 2) The problem reported here In my case I had to stop the daemon and then apply the modification on the snmpd.postinst file. Only then the upgrade was sucessfully applied. -- snmpd fails to upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589056 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to net-snmp in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 92652] Re: C-cedil not present in US-International keyboard
This problem is really annoying and still it seems to be present in Hardy beta. I just wish that a proper solution would be presented for the user. I know how to fix it using the command line, but this is not a good solution for a distro that claims to be easy to use. Maybe an option to correct this should be shown in the keyboard configuration gui. I don't think that would be so hard to implement but one must remember to add that feature to the installer as well. -- C-cedil not present in US-International keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92652 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 45842] Re: nfs shares not mounted at startup
It would be great to have an official bugfix update for Gusty. [Bug 44836] Re: NFS mounts on clients don't appear in `mount` or `df` output
I think I found another problem related to this bug. If the missing nfs mount uses quota, the quota command will not know it at all. If I want to know my quota limits on that nfs mount I have no way unless I manually remount it. I was wondering if there are other programs that would be affected by this. -- NFS mounts on clients don't appear in `mount` or `df` output https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/44836 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
