vpnc connects, it modifies the routes but then any tcp operation get a kernel

It's still happening here (I don't remember any updates to OO.org since
7.04 was out, anyway). It happens on 3 different clean 7.04 installs on
2 different computers.
Going to File Wizards Install new dictionaries always crashes

I've tested Kubuntu Herd4 desktop i386 on two different machines and on
both it boots and starts KDE OK, so the issue I reported is no longer

I have the same problem too. Before the update to Edgy works fine, but after it
does not work. Nowadays i only can read/write cdroms and read dvd format, but
can't read nor write data dvds.

As a temporary work around, you can search for the apps with the search

Im testing Feisty Fawn Beta as a Live CD before installing anything,
under older versions (Dapper, Edgy) my dial up connection works well
(PPPconfig, DNS, save connect but under Feisty Fawn) I do the same and

For me this fix is a bigger problem than the previous problem. I have a Raid 5
mounted in /media/other , with 4 partitions - /dev/hda12 (IDE), /dev/sda1,
/dev/sdb1 and /dev/sdc11. Before this patch it would fail because md0 would
appear after /dev/sd* but before /dev/hd*; the sleep 10
Correction: alt-sysreq-E lets me resume booting a recovery boot. Inside
it,a cat /proc/partitions does show sd* followed by dm-0, then hda*,
then dm-[1-9].

I also tried reverting the patch, but it seems I no longer have some hw
driver - sdb and sdc aren't being detected anymore. Probably one
actualization that was done in paralel (I did a apt-get upgrade to get
this patch) that broke my system and won't let ubuntu detect the second
drive connected to
Thanks, the kernel update fixed the sdb and sdc not detected problem.
But the mdadm race condition is still here with the patch - hda is
detected only after mdadm has loaded and assembled /dev/md0. So I always
get a degraded array at boot.

Hi Martin, the debian commit including the patch from Tomas Mraz (cronie
fedora) included the copyright changes. Perhaps a cleanup. We decided to
keep it consistent, should we remove these? thanks
