[Bug 390358] Re: libbluetooth.a file is missing from libbluetooth-dev package
I just managed to compile this xkbd-bthid by replacing libbluetooth.a with /usr/lib/libbluetooth.so from xkbd-0.8.15_bthid/src/makefile. Let's see, if this works - beware that the package does not install to /usr/local. This package requires some other modification, since it does not follow the fsstnd rules used in standard distros. Instead, it has been made for maemo - do not mess up your installation. Now, I try to get this weirdo working. -- libbluetooth.a file is missing from libbluetooth-dev package https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/390358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 181570] Re: dazuko_linux26.h:45: erro r: field ‘mutex’ has incomplete type
yes, dazuko does not work with 8.10 due to incompatibility with the kernel version. there is a patch for 2.6.26, but not 2.6.27. i do not intend to downgrade my kernel, just wait for a miracle to happen. -- dazuko_linux26.h:45: error: field ‘mutex’ has incomplete type https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/181570 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 292144] Re: can't resume x60s if suspend after undock from ultrabase x6
I have the exactly same hardware, same ultrabay, same dvd burner - and guess what? Same problem. I have been using a workaround, I discovered: when the laptop refuses to unsuspend, just put it back to ultrabay. This has helped me many times. I do not carry the ultrabay with me all the time, so this causes some unpleasant surprises. When I dock the machine, I see some hardware related messages for a fraction of a second.. jouni -- can't resume x60s if suspend after undock from ultrabase x6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292144 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 219382] Re: fsck not run on boot if on battery power
I recently reinstalled my laptop to use jfs.. my experiences are purely positive. Now, let's combine these topics. Fsck for JFS takes few seconds even on large filesystems. This same behaviour (fsck skipped when on battery power) is quite annoying feature, since JFS refuses to mount as rw when the filesystem is marked as dirty. So, I have to login+fsck+reboot after a crash. I'm slowly giving up with ext filesystems, could anyone tell me a good reason why using so badly immature, slow and fscking annoying filesystem? My decision to move to JFS with a laptop was based on lower processor usage (=lower battery usage) with a satisfying performance. I know, it is not the fastest on this planet but seems to be a reasonable compromise between resources and performance. jouni -- fsck not run on boot if on battery power https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219382 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
