I can reproduce that with the oneiric amd64 package. The program is not linked
against libmp4v2 nor does it dynamically load it.
libmp4v2 has been removed from the package due to licensing issues and replaced
by taglib.

I have set up my two monitors to have the primary screen on right, so the
launcher is on the left of it and the middle of both screens.
Like that the mouse travel from either screen to the launcher is minimal.
