[Bug 1950184] [NEW] ACPI Error Message After Wake Up HP Omen 15

2021-11-08 Thread Kashad J Turner-Warren
Public bug reported:

I had my IPhone 12 pro plugged into laptop USB slot before I open my laptop.
When I open my laptop, this is the message I got after waking up my
laptop:

[17646.068708] ACPI Error: AE_BAD_PARAMETER, Returned by Handler for
[EmbeddedControl]
(20210331/evregion-281)

previous error
(AE_BAD_PARAMETER) (20210331/psparse-529)

I had to hold the power button to reboot my laptop.
Once I login, I ran journalctl | grep -a "ACPI Error" command:

Re: [Bug 1894627] Re: [nvidia] Web browser distorted after hibernation/power save when idle

2020-10-23 Thread Kashad J Turner-Warren
I have attached a screenshot of my screen. I am using Google chrome.
It's that distort box on the top left corner. sometimes, it will fill up my
screen
the same size as the webpage. I have to close the browser completely to
remove it.
