I believe this will not be fixed any time soon, as it's not a fault in Ubuntu.
The new Gnome 3 settings don't provide this functionality as of now.
As a workaround, you can do the following:
1. install argyll color management suite
2. create a file containing the following:

Kernel update 2.6.38-10.46 solved the problem.
Suspend is working again.

The connection qualitiy is worse in comparison to hardy.
The connection even drops from time to time and network-manager is unable to
reconnect automatically.

I know it worked until Lucid Beta-2.
In Ubuntu 9.10 it's working fine too.
And it works when I use another end point. I have two routers, both
Linksys models. One is capable of 1 Gb/s (WRT610N), the other 100 Mb/s
(WRT160NL). Just the one with the 100 Mb/s link fails, on the other
autonegotiation
I own the same mother board and updated to BIOS version 2005 - issue not
resolved here... :(

Selecting 'PrintMotd yes' has no effect, I tried that already.
Choosing 'UsePAM yes' shows the Motd.
But: I don't want to allow logins using a simple password, but want to make
sure the exchange of keys is used.
Can you (or anybody else) confirm that every user _has_ to have the key?

proftpd 1.3.2c with SSL is useless in Ubuntu 10.04
It actually did work in Lucid too, but was broken by some upgraded packages.
Not being able to tell you more - because of lack of knowledge - makes me sad.
:(
