Same problem appeared in 11.04 somewhere in latest updates. More ever
the totem was running at 100% CPU. the upstart was random and I had to
uninstall it because my laptop was going way to hot because of it.

I actually stopped using upgrade manager and do it from terminal. Just
tried to use it and I when clicked on the upgrade button nothing
happened it does not respond.
Due to suspend problems in previous kernel I am using pre-release
repositories.

This happened after upgrade to 13.10.
After login I got back screen, therefore I reinstalled nvidia drivers and xorg.
Tryed log in into gnome without any problems. When logged into unity got first
permission denied pop up without any further message and then this crash
same here, how this packade can be left out in a first place?

I needed usable laptop to I moved to Ubuntu 13.04 with 3.8.0-16-generic
kernel and this problem does not exist there.

crash occured during uppgrade from 11.10 to 12.04. The message I got was
the the process could not be stoped, note here that I had not innitiated
afs connection before the uppgrade. After restart afs is working fine.
