GDB using the wrong type of breakpoint (between a 4 bytes ARM breakpoint

(which pulls the latest linux-generic) or rebooting a VM (which updated

Installed the mainline kernel 5.11-rc5 and the "cannot verify signal
voltage" persists. Also now i have the new message "Deprecated parameter
'namecase'".

Sorry for taking so much time to answer. I did uninstall Ubuntu Budgie
20.04 and installed Xubuntu 20.04 so i do not even use the exact same
system anymore. Unfortunately i cannot test my 128GB sdxc card now, and
i do not know how to answer your question properly.

Tested my 8GB Micro SDHC recently formatted with exFAT. All files
transfered flawlessly, even with the Partition Type NTFS/exFAT/HPFS and
exFAT content description in gnome-disks, and, most important (at least
i think so), no "cannot verify signal voltage switch" in dmesg. By dmesg
i got:

it uses exFAT and in gnome-disks the Partition Type is NTFS/exFAT/HPFS
and the contents are exFAT. i found weird that partition type shows
NTFS/exFAT/HPFS and the contents exFAT. But who knows? (i am not very
proficient in computing).
obs: i did format it as exFAT in windows 10 in another machine
I have tested the updated in proposed and it works for me.

The error you posted got me thinking and I did a reinstall of libnma0
and gir1.2-nm-1.0 and now the problem went away. Somehow, something on

the workaround (Adding 'Crash' to the problem_types list on crashdb) and

Thank you Daniel. I needed oibaf's updates to get ahold of Mesa <=20.2
and libgnvd <=1.3.2 in order to successfully compile wlroots and sway
from sources.
Now that hwe has come out with the updates I needed I ppa-purged oibaf,
but the issue remains.

If I leave GDM3 like that for a while (around 30 secs or so) it will
eventually terminate and drop to the underlying tty.
Conversely, lightdm is working correctly. I can use that for the time
being.

Just to point out I have power-cycled my laptop in case a reboot wasn't
cutting it.
Also, I can switch TTY no problem, that's how I'm starting the window
manager.

For some reason, since today GDM has ceased to work. No updates came
through as last time I installed any updates was a week ago.
Upon boot, gdm goes to a black screen with a cursor. This screen
flickers to show the underlying tty and on each flicker the cursor

The vms are created by nova, OpenStack Train env., so I cannot modify
the settings for this VM, but I could try to create one and perform a
live migration btw 2 nodes.

I am seeing a very similar issue on my Lenovo T480s while using the Intel UHD
Graphics 620 (rev 7).
A simple example is that YouTube videos in any browser
(Chrome/Chromium/Firefox/etc.) while in the browser window play at 60fps but as
soon as you use full screen it falls back to 30fps on the
101 - 200 of 6890 matches
