did not work at all

click and drag over the icons, the emblems are redrawn. Also you can

BTW: I have installed Sidux Linux (which is Debian based too) as a
parallel installation. It runs with Kernel 2.6.32 and so far there are
no problems. Touching the case, the system is definitely much cooler
even after running a full day, then running with Karmic. I do not know,

I loaded ubuntu on my toshiba laptop a few days ago. The machine has an nvidia
graphics card which I had to download the hardware drivers for. After 3 days
while trying TUX racer, I set the graphics higher than the card could support.
The machine locked up and when I rebooted I believe it was
a
black screen and no sound. The properties tag in movieplayer shows a
duration of 0 seconds.
Strangely a few of the shorter files do show icons and do play, but
first try to find codec GStreamer element dvdspu. That fails, then
they seem to play ok.

I have the same problem. The audio CD has no information entered and
will seg fault unless I enter in title information for ever track I want
to rip. It would be nice if the ripper would just automatically number
the track names or something.

I don't think this is a regression. This driver was poor in jaunty as
well for me:

Applications are restarted at launch even though Automatically remember
running applications when logging out is
I have the same error message on Ubuntu 9.10 UNR i386 on a stock 4GB
SSD. I thought it was ext4 so i reinstalled with ext3 and the message
still comes up. When you click on the message it takes you to the
palimsest desk utility.

Not working for me either, Amilo LI 1718 with an X200M card. Suspends
fine but won't resume, requiring a powering off and on of the laptop.
Using the stock radeon driver with 9.10 Beta (daily build, todays).
Any news on this getting fixed? I'm not one for wizbang desktop effects,
but the default
