Trying to suspend or hibernate on my x60 (after an upgrade to edgy from
dapper, where it worked) fails.
That is, it appears to suspend (the machine shuts down and the suspend
LED flashes) but it won't come back up.
I experience the same thing with hibernation.

seahorse window popped up prompting for my GPG passphrase:

After installing the 2.6.28-11 and -13 kernels, I experienced disk
corruption. The machine would work fine, sometimes for hours, but a
reboot would end up with a corrupted file system. EXT3 couldn't just
replay the log -- I actually ended

audio control (the buttons above the keyboards) vs the software

I left the reply about versions without confirming that it was still a
problem. I wasn't able to check just then.

It usually works. There are times when Ubuntu boots up and alsa doesn't
configure the sound correctly, but I haven't figured out what triggers
it.
