I was trying to set up an OpenVPN connection on Precise, but it kept
failing. It seemed like n-m was crashing every time the connection was
established. A crash is logged by the kernel, but not picked up by
apport.

I have native IPv6 on my home network, and I've set network-manager to
expect it (require IPv6 on this network). This works fine, but I end
up with lots (and LOTS) of log lines that look like this:
Jan 13 07:46:30 martijn-desktop NetworkManager[8051]: warn Failed to add

When I click the gnome-system-log icon after searching in the Unity
menus, I get an empty window with no logfiles, and no option to open
extra logfiles.
This defeats the purpose of a log viewer a little ;)

There is no menu in the app.
(I have uninstalled the appmenu-* packages because I don't like the
apple menu. This used to put the menus back inside the apps)

No.
Note that it's not in my environment to begin with anyway. And this also
seems to affect nautilus, now that I think of it (I thought it might be
a gnome3 push: fewer menus).

Public bug reported:
I have a Motorola Xoom and a Galaxy Nexus, which won't show up in
Banshee and Nautilus, because libgphoto2 doesn't have entries for them.
Adding them to libmtp wasn't enough, apparently (this confused me a bit
:))
I've rebuilt libgphoto2 with the device IDs and now they show
** Attachment added: Patch that adds device IDs for my Xoom and Galaxy Nexus
to libgphoto2
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/913037/+attachment/2660892/+files/libgphoto.patch
** Summary changed:
- New devices for music-players.h
+ Galaxy Nexus, Xoom: New device IDs for music-players.h
--
That problem disappears once the Galaxy Nexus is added to libmtp's
device list. But as far as I understant it, Banshee has code that should
pick up any device that's picked up by mtp-detect.
