@alexbottoni I reproduced it with Qt 5.0.2 on Linux Mint too, I suppose
the fix is released in a later version. I recommend installing Qt 5.3
from http://qt-project.org/downloads , which works fine.

I've found this happens even with some ASCII characters, e.g. "?". Thus,
I cannot open magnet links, because "magnet:?xt=urn:" becomes
"magnet:%3Fxt=urn:". I'm using version 0.10.6.

Public bug reported:
Since the last update (2017-12-1) KDE System Tray won't display pidgin
and skype icon (once minimized). I've tried also with Amarok and it's
working.
No one on KDE Bug Tracking report a problem like this.
I've tried to relogin, to remove e readd system tray... no results.
Public bug reported:
Failed to calculate progress
An unsolvable problem occurred during the calculation of the feedrate.
The reasons may be:
* Progress to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Execution of the current version of Ubuntu pre-release
* Unofficial software packages not provided by
@Paul (sabret00the) Me too. They simply ignored those reports.
BTW.. This issue also occurs on Flex 2 with linux Mint 18.x (16.04 based).
It started to appear on my machine about half a year ago.
The first symptom was a lack of autoadding entries in the grub menu after the
kernel update.
I forgot to mention that the package version in Mint is: crda
(3.13-1ubuntu0.16.04.1) xenial,
but the entire issue is exactly that same as here above described.
