I have also noticed that gnome-keyring-daemon starts to use large amount
of RAM (1.0 - 1.3 GiB). The time, when this is happening, correlates
with high CPU usage.
Evolution and gnome-keyring-daemon work fine if Exchange plugin is not
used.
Evolution-exchange has also crashed two times during
I (and my colleagues) have the same problem with these versions of
gnome-keyring-daemon and Evolution when using the Evolution's Exchange
plugin.
It can be observed on i386 and amd64 platforms.

I can confirm the same behaviour as well on laptop HP Compaq 6710b

I have two wireles routers, Fonera and Linsys. When I connect to
wireless, I get new DNS settings through DHCP.
However, there is a problem how to connect back to wired connection.
Unfortunately, there is no way to disconnect from wireless connection,
except shutting off

In fact - I am stupid.
I was playing with dpkg-reconfigure xsrver-xorg a long time ago and I
set videocard vesa. In Gutsy Intel is supoorted and after reconfiguring
it again, it is working like a charm :-)

The same problem here. I am using Feisty server and did dist-upgrade.
Booted from 2.6 .20-16-server, and the same problem remains.
However, you need to create /dev/.static/dev/mapper directory by:
sudo mkdir /dev/.static/dev/mapper
Then you can luksformat and cryptsetup luksOpen your partition.
Switching the restricted drive OFF solved the problem. Switching the
user does not freeze the computer anymore. The X server restarts and
GDM window shows up.
Even with the -16 kernel is everything fine.

Using Feisty, Gnome and GDM:
1) log in as any user
2) Log out or Switch user on the Quit screen
The screen goes black, Ctrl+Alt+Backspace does not work, nor does the
Ctrl+Alt+F1-12. Interestingly, Numlock LED is still responsive. The only

As I said, this is NOT WORKING:
1. Open the Desktop Effects window
2. Right Click on the Switcher
3. Left Click on preferences
4. Change the Number of Workspaces to 4
5. Enable Desktop on a Cube
6. Close the Desktop Effects window
After that there is only one desktop and no cube.

is the same. After reboot cube is not working anymore.

It took a bit longer than I have anticipated to find time to modify
cpufreq-detect.sh.
I have tried the following modified script and works for me.
Actually the original script loads acpi_cpufreq also even though it
should load speedstep-centrino. I use Intel Centrinu Duo.

This has happend with fglrx driver as well. This is happening to me
after setting up dual-head display with Xinerama. By using big desktop
the problem is not reproducible.

I have standalone Kdevelop assistant windows open to browse the
development documentation.
Since I have started to use big desktop (two monitors, connected to ATI
GPU, fglrx driver) the Assistant crashes when logging out.
