I can confirm this bug using nv driver with a fx5200. If I remove xorg.conf I get the proper screen resolution (1200*1024 on a samsung 793v). If I reconfigure the xserver-xorg and log out and in again I get a huge 1400*1200 desktop wich looks like zoomed out hiding the half of the screen. Then
