I would suggest this is a high priority. If Ubuntu is being billed as an
easy to use OS (which it is these days), well the first thing average
users are going to do is load up Firefox and go to YouTube. Having to
sudo at the console will turn them away immediately.

Firefox says flash plugin
Confirmed that I have the same problem (on Intrepid, with flashplugin-
nonfree). Specifically, Firefox prints this out to console on startup:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library
/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so [libnss3.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file
This problem just started happening to me after I wiped Gutsy and
installed Hardy. (ie. I can transfer OGG to iPod using RhythmBox, it
gets transcoded to an M4A file but the iPod refuses to play it, even
though RhythmBox itself can still play it).
Tried it on the above OGG file (If Trees Could
OK this is already reported upstream, so replies should be directed to this

Ah so I just followed a chain of bugs to get myself a pretty good
workaround.
This bug seems only to happen for AAC encoding. Switch over to MP3.
This was problematic for me because I couldn't get CD Quality, MP3 to
appear in the dropdown list under Edit - Preferences - Music -
Preferred Format.
Someone above suggested switching VT using Ctrl+Alt+F1 and then back
again to Ctrl+Alt+F7.

/usr/share/vim/vimcurrent/syntax/llvm.vim - llvm-2.8.vim
This symlink is broken as there is no file llvm-2.8.vim in that
directory. In fact, the package llvm-2.8-dev version 2.8-0ubuntu1 (which

I would recommend adding a different colour highlight border around the
edge of the active one, and removing the colour border around all of the
other ones, so the only one with a colour border is the active one. It's
hard to tell from the attached screenshot, but for example Firefox will

Sorry to add to the noise a bit, but I just want to get the scope of this bug
clear. I certainly have *a bug* but I can't figure out if it is this one or

delete the old file, only renames from the .part name to the completed
name (using the standard library 'rename' function, which is guaranteed

I am happy to report that the workaround has been merged into Chromium
31. Tabs should display titles again from Chromium 31 onwards -- please
report on http://crbug.com/123104 if there are still problems after 31.
As a side effect, users upgrading to Chromium 31 will have a missing
fade effect
