Installed linux-headers...all, linux-headers...generic amd64, image amd64 and image-extra using dpgk -i *.deb this time instead of using the software centre I used to install the previous images. Started Ubuntu with 4.10.0-36-generic. This slow video problem is now present. But wifi now works. --
