it is pointed out that the module can build bindings on the fly during runtime,
not just during build time for a package. Now maybe not many packagers will
forget to include an extension in a package, but it
python-cffi / pycparser:
The packaging looks sane, well maintained in Debian, and upstream. No
bug reports in Debian and Ubuntu. From my point of view these two
packages are fine, except for one odd thing, now documented in LP:
#1442369, and suggesting that the python-cffi package is split into a
an experimental build of python3-xapian is available in the
doko/toolchain PPA. Is the change in oneconf-common really just a
switch, or is there some porting needed?

it looks like LP: #1326707 is the only Python3 related issue in
ubiquity, but not backported to trusty, although python 3.4 is the
default.
I'm attaching a backport for it. How could we test this changed ubiquity
on the image?
