James, if possible, could you please try version 1.0.2-1ubuntu1 in
Intrepid? As of Intrepid, recommended packages are installed
automatically. This means that when you install wireshark, menu will
also be installed. For me, this was enough to get the .desktop file to
appear in the Applications
Stefan, this new version of pdfcrack worked fine for me. I was also
unable to spot anything in the Ubuntu-Ubuntu debdiff that looked like
it would cause any issues.

Thanks for reporting this bug. zope-cmf1.5 is no longer in the Ubuntu or
Debian repositories (LP: #65391). The package has been superseded by
zope-cmf1.6. As a result, I am closing this bug report. If you still
experience this issue with zope-cmf1.6, please open a new bug report

In kopete version 4:4.1.0-0ubuntu2 in Intrepid, libqca2-plugin-ossl is a
Recommended package. You are able to use kopete without libqca2-plugin-
ossl installed, so I do not think that it needs to be made a Dependency.

The fix for the failure to remove psad if /var/run/psad doesn't exist has been
applied upstream in Debian. We can drop

the first merge I have done where grab-merge.sh has failed to place the
changelog entries in the correct order. In this new debdiff, I have
manually gone and sorted the entries by date. Also, from what I have
