I can also confirm this issue with the latest kernel upgrade to 2.6.24-17 : no resume after hibernate, the systems hangs with exactly the same symptoms and messages as Péter describes above. To recover, I need to force shutdown with the power button. Same problem when resuming from suspend

OK, I found the problem: I had installed the firefox X2Go plugin, that was causing the nspluginwrapper to crash. I removed X2Go plugin, reinstalled nspluginwrapper, and then X2go plugin with no pproblem. So this is similar to the problem encountered with googletalk plugin, same fix. -- You
