This problem is not only with suspend, but in poweroff too.
Steps to reproduce:
- Power-on your laptop with Kernel =2.6.22
- Power-off and wait ~10h.
- See that battery charge is changed to ~94%
If you power-on (by Windows) and power-off (by Windows), the battery
charge is not changed.

Today I see a new kernel update, so I install it:
$ aptitude search linux-image | grep ^i
i A linux-image-3.2.0-23-generic- Linux kernel image for version 3.2.0 on 64
i A linux-image-3.2.0-24-generic- Linux kernel image for version 3.2.0 on 64
But, on Grub entries I see only
The tap on touchpad is not working too (Lenovo Thinkpad T61).
On Kubuntu 12.04, If I go to K menu -- System config -- Input
devices -- Mouse, when I click on Touchpad I get this error
