when it happens, you can solve it like i do, just enter manual recovery and
mount the partition manually;
In my case:
mount /dev/mapper/vg0_lv_tmp /tmp

In my home network a used to have my SSID hidden.
With this, knetwork-manager has always been unable to authenticate and/or find
the SSID.
When i enabled the SSID broadcast, this problem got solved.
Gnome network manager doesn't have this problem.
** Affects:
I'm not sure that we are talking about the same bug, but I still see
jDownloader with the ? icon and named jd-Main. I have bamfdaemon

I'm sorry but so, the same bug that is causing the resize grip to be
drawn over the scrollbar arrow button is making it black (as shown in

I'm also experiencing this.
I use LVM and it seems it doesn't happen when doing reboot, only from cold start
In my case, the kernel always complains about the /tmp

If i didn't know how to mount the partition, i would be unable to boot
the system at all, since it doesn't recover except skipping the mounting
operation, why in case of / or /home would be even more serious than in
my case

Glauco,
You can activate the option Support msn groups friendly names under
Connection, on the Preferences panel. I think this should be enabled by
default anyway. Regarding the commands problem, you must use a double
slash, telling emesene that you actually want to send that to the chat
window.
I'm sorry but i think this is absolutely nonsense. With some many
alternatives, both web-based and desktop email clients (Thunderbird for
instance), I'd like to see the percentage of Ubuntu users who actually
use Evolution. Naturally, if I have no use for an application, why
should I leave it
