[Bug 1580143] [NEW] OSK appears when device is connected externally over HMDI with BT conected keyboard
Public bug reported: The current UX for the OSK when a device is externally connected over HDMI is to always display the OSK even if a BT keyboard is connected. Although it was envisioned this UX does serve a purpose: to allow a user to disconnect from the external display and avoid manually disconnecting the BT keyboard, we feel this is not the right experience. The OSK should not appear in any instance when a physical keyboard is connected. ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1580143 Title: OSK appears when device is connected externally over HMDI with BT conected keyboard To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8/+bug/1580143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

going back to 4.10 works. Otherwise, everything appears as normal except I can't login to any of my user accounts (local machine, ubuntu usernames). Logging in appears to work, and then I'm back to the login screen again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1741671 Title: nvidia-340 340.102-0ubuntu0.16.04.2: nvidia-340 kernel module failed to build [nv-linux.h:199:2: error: #error "This driver requires the ability to change memory types!"] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe/+bug/1741671/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
