The message on the xubuntu download page (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/releases/dapper/release/) says that only 128 MB is needed for the desktop install. As xubuntu should be lightweight it should not require 192 MB to install (and in my opinion not even 128 MB). -- Xubuntu installer hangs

I retested in Dapper. When logging out the problem is gone. If I shut down the screen switches to LCD during the shutdown procedure. If I switch to CRT again the screen switches back to LCD when booting again. I guess that the last issue is in order, but shouldn't the shutdown be on the CRT
