[Bug 418242] Re: Incorrect call to output plugins (with persistent error message) on copy
Hi, please fix this. I had the workaround but lost it after an upgrade to my system. Now I have to add it again. Please do something, **anything** to fix this. It is the #1 most annoying bug in Inkscape, (of which there are many). I think I speak for many when I say, basically, if there is something on the clipboard and Inkscape can't read it and it generates an error: * I don't care. * Don't bug me about it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418242 Title: Incorrect call to output plugins (with persistent error message) on copy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/418242/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1446053] Re: Font corruption some characters suddenly not rendered after login or after a period of usage
The laptop is now on 15.10 and I have not seen the bug. It may have been fixed in 15.04, I can't remember it was so long ago since I did that upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1446053 Title: Font corruption some characters suddenly not rendered after login or after a period of usage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1446053/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1452171] [NEW] No password field appears after wake from sleep
Public bug reported: To reproduce, close laptop lid and allow to go to sleep. Some time later, open laptop lid. No password field appears and I can't unlock the screen, see attached screenshot. This only happens sometimes (maybe one in ten or fewer?). It seems very similar to another bug which is allegedly fixed, so I have raised this one. The mouse cursor moves. Ctrl-Alt-F1 to a terminal and sudo services restart lightdm restarts X but still results in no password field. [Bug 1446053] [NEW] Font corruption some characters suddenly not rendered after login or after a period of usage
Public bug reported: This has occurred multiple times on my machine (Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series laptop), it happens without warning. After which time suddenly application windows will fail to render certain characters making everything unreadable. In the past it has happened immediately after login, this time it happened after ~30 minutes usage from a cold boot. See attached screenshot. This doesn't happen for every window, chrome is generally ok, as are the unity launcher. The tools in the system tray and the power off menu are affected, as are nautilus, gedit, and application menus generally. Rolling over labels sometimes causes them to rener properly while the mouse is over them. Terminal is fine There is a workaround which is to change the font antialiasing settings with unity tweak tool, however this isn't a permanent fix - last time it was set to RGBA, so I changed it to Grayscale. This time it happened it was set to Grayscale and I set it to RGBA and it fixes it. I don't know enough to know whether this is a video driver issue, or a problem with gtk or what, so it's possible you may need to recategorise this defect. One other thing that may be useful info is that twiddling the antialiasing drop-down fixes and breaks the font rendering on the fly, when I see this problem. [Bug 24430] Re: connect to server feature don't manage NFS shares
Hi, I have this problem too, my system is Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy PowerPc. I've installed the required packages (nfs-common, nfs-kernel-server (although server packages shouldn't be required for client support?)) When I Select Places-Connect to server from GNOME desktop, I only get the following options in the drop-down: SSH, FTP (login), Public FTP, Windows Share, WebDAV, Secure WebDAV, Custom Location I believe I should also get Unix Networking (NFS) as an option. Also I believe there should be a corresponding NFS networking icon from Places-Network Servers, which is also missing -- connect to server feature don't manage NFS shares https://launchpad.net/bugs/24430 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
