Can I just second this bug report?
I too am running 64-bit Ubuntu 7.04., thunderbird 1.5.0.12.
I'm pretty sure the problem has started recently - maybe after an update to the
Update Manager.
Do you want me to post my crash file to the above link?

I believe I have been seeing the same bug, the restricted driver manager
did not show the NVidia drivers as an option following the installation
of Ubuntu 7.04 AMD64 on my laptop.
I had previously had the 32-bit version installed (nb fresh install,
partition formatted) and the driver did show up
In addition to my previous comment, I forgot to mention that my graphics card
is a Nvidia GeForce Go 7400, rather than a 7300 GS.

nb this is with the NVidia driver installed via envy
