One more reboot since I saw fsck showing for a lot of the time on the
last long boot. This is another ureadahead boot - 2 seconds faster than
the prior sreadahead. (But still - 1:30 on a dual 2 ghz system)

On Karmic i386 (up to date as of 10/25/09) with a Foxconn Atom
barebones. After logging in to gnome, I have a lockup within 5 seconds
of a compiz effect, 3d effect (screensaver or other 3d app) appearing on
the screen. Removing compiz from the system and disabling 3d
screensavers avoids the lockup.
Since the mouse works before the gdm screen, and appears to choke at gdm
- I think the issue is in gdm vs the kernel.

rtl8192su_linux_2.6.0002.0708.2009/firmware/RTL8192SU (containing
rtl8192sfw.bin)
into /lib/firmware, unplugging the usb adapter and putting it back in worked

the installer craps out, because it is looking for a blank password. The

It's not _too_ annoying if you're just watching Youtube or something,
but if you scroll down a Facebook tab it gets pretty obnoxious, because

i am not recieving a text file when i run the command
what am i doing wrong?
alt+f2 to bring up command
i have rebooted, suspended, reproduced flicker, rebooted then entered
verbatim. No text file appears?

When using the HyperX AMP, the microphone is not detected. This is a
known issue with the mainline kernel, however was patched in release
5.7.0. This occurs on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
