When I connect to a serve here at work I get kicked of after some random

Another observation :
running this command :
watch -n 1 date
on two difference ssh-conntection to two different servers continously show the
running date and time.
The time is of cause offset by some amount of seconds (20 in my case).
Based on that offset I can see that those two connections

client - since our application creates some ssh-tunnels. I was not aware

The problem seems to be related to the nVidia driver, since it does not
happen on the machine I administer which has Intel-chipsets. The crash
has been less frequent. I have only seen it once since the Feisty Fawn
release. The crash also only happenes during kdevelop-startup

I bet it is not a nVidia issue. It also happenens with with the vesa-
driver. But then again on the pc I'm loggently logged in on it does not

openoffice was running. So saving the file in OOO would start the
copying to the remote location a couple of seconds later - with OOO

Well . now it detects as a HDA Nvidia, but still no sound comming
out. I notice that there a multiple controll in alsamixer. When it
worked back in 2.6.20-8 there where only a couple.

MY laptop normally is set to maximum backlight level, but during boot
the backlight is reset to the lowest level. I can increase it
afterwards, but it is always reset during boot. This happenens with
nouveau as well as with nvidia proprietary driver.
