Note the "3.7: No such file or directory" above. I get a "3.6ubuntu2: No
such file or directory" instead.
It seems to be a packaging problem to me (the error is generated by
/var/lib/dpkg/info/ttf-mscorefonts-installer.postinst).

I got this ibus warning instead:
IBUS-WARNING **: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect:
Permission denied
and the following work-around worked for me:
$ rm -r ~/.config/ibus
although why this helps, or why only evince seems to have input problems
with ibus remains a bit of a mystery.
This was in fact already fixed in 2.8.9dev1-2.

need to add libgcrypt20-dev to our build-deps explicitly since no
version of libgcrypt is pulled in by libgnutls28-dev anymore. Result is
a lynx that's doesn't understand https as ./configure can't find
As a workaround, deleting the contents of ~/.moc/cache worked for me.
Notice these errors when running the server process on the foreground with
mocp -S -F:

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pmount
Pmount won't work with /sys in the 2.6.28 kernels used on jaunty.
There's a 0.9.19 release upstream which already has this problem fixed.
One further problem is that pmount 0.9.19 doesn't know about ext4
filesystems (which can be fixed in src/fs.c
